Astrophotography has a wonderful way of bringing people together, whether that is a room full of camera enthusiasts, a class of curious students, or guests relaxing on board a cruise. I offer talks tailored to each audience, sharing the skills, stories and sheer wonder of photographing the night sky. Camera Clubs

I offer engaging talks for camera clubs and photography enthusiasts, covering every aspect of astrophotography. Through stunning imagery and practical guidance, you'll explore topics including star trails, the Milky Way, choosing locations, selecting equipment, and techniques for capturing the night sky.

Each talk can be tailored to your group's interests, so please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Talks are presented in two 40 minute sessions with a short break, either in person or online. Fees are £105, plus travel at 45p per mile where applicable.

School Visits

Discover the captivating world of photography and astronomy through engaging school talks tailored for Art students from Year 5 onwards. These sessions inspire young minds to explore innovative photographic techniques while fostering a deep appreciation for the cosmos. Students will see how science and art can be blended to create a storytelling artwork and open their eyes to different artistic techniques. Cruise Ship lectures

I offer a unique on-board experience designed to help passengers gently improve their photography skills, while capturing meaningful memories. Through a relaxed lecture series covering camera basics, composition, and equipment choices, along with guided practical sessions, guests will explore how to photograph beautiful sunsets, moonlit landscapes, and even the magic of the northern lights. With friendly, expert guidance, they’ll return home with images they will treasure and enjoy sharing for years to come.
