Between Earth and Stars

Standing on the edge of this volcanic ridge in La Palma, I felt small in the best possible way. Rugged lava formations surrounded me, shaped by forces far older than memory, while a shifting blanket of cloud moved slowly below the horizon. Thin, high-altitude clouds softened the sky just enough to reveal the Milky Way’s bright core with a gentle, ethereal glow. I captured this scene because it held that rare balance of wild landscape, quiet solitude and cosmic wonder — a reminder of how extraordinary our night skies truly are.
