As the lavender waves softly in the breeze, the Milky Way core rises high into the Summer sky, radiating similar pastel shades over this Lavender Farm. The harvester stops mid-harvest, captivated by this wondrous sight.
I often reflect on how our ancient relatives would have viewed the night sky and the wonders within it, without the light pollution of our modern world. I created this image to explore that thought further and remind us all to stop and gaze upwards occasionally.
